Meet The Farmers

Where Tradition Meets Passion

Meet the Heart Behind the Farm

At Witten Farm, our roots run deep. For over eight generations, the Witten family has poured passion, dedication, and love into every crop we grow. From the fields to the market, our farmers are committed to bringing the freshest, highest-quality produce straight to your table. Get to know the hardworking family behind your favorite farm-fresh foods, and discover how tradition and innovation come together to create the Witten Farm difference.

Scott – The Tomato Master

When it comes to tomatoes, Scott is the expert behind every delicious bite! From planting to harvest, he’s in charge of the entire process, ensuring top-quality tomatoes every time. Scott also leads the farm crews and coordinates the daily deliveries to our markets. He thrives on the fast-paced, ever-changing demands of the farm and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

Julie – The Flower Visionary

Julie brought vibrant beauty to Witten Farm in 1994 by introducing our stunning flower collections. She designs the unique hanging baskets that brighten our markets. But her passion doesn’t stop there—Julie is all about people! She works closely with our managers and market teams to create a welcoming, family-friendly shopping experience and deliver exceptional customer service across all 23 locations.

Tom – The Sweet Corn King

Tom ensures that the beloved Witten Sweet Corn gets from the fields to your table in record time. He leads the overnight crew, harvesting fresh sweet corn and getting it to market within hours of harvest. Before corn season hits, Tom is busy in the greenhouse, nurturing the beautiful flowers you see each spring. He’s the driving force behind two of Witten’s biggest seasonal favorites!

The Future Farmers of Witten

The next generation of Witten farmers is already making their mark! These six enthusiastic kids, ages 7 to 16, are learning the ropes and embracing the family tradition. Whether they’re walking the fields with their dads, visiting markets with Aunt Julie, or helping Grandma Bonnie at the farm stand, they’re gaining valuable hands-on experience. With their drive and curiosity, we’re excited to see the new heights they’ll take Witten Farm to in the years ahead!
